DICKINSON, ND – January 3, 2009 –The University of Great Falls wrestling team took their #3 NAIA national ranking and traveled to Dickinson, North Dakota for Saturday's Blue Hawk Classic wrestling tournament hosted by NAIA #4 Dickinson State University. However, the squad was not at full strength as several of the lineups regulars were left at home to prepare for the upcoming National Duals held next week. Even so, the University of Great Falls still placed fourth behind teams from Augsburg College (MN), Dickinson State and Chadron State (NE). More>

LAS VEGAS, NV – December 21, 2008 – The University of Great Falls JV wrestling team won three out of four duals at the ballrooms of the Flamingo Las Vegas on Sunday in Nevada. Fourteen college teams battled it out on the mat with each team taking part in multiple rounds of competition. The Argos took on Wartburg College (IA), Concordia College (WI), Elmhurst College (IL) and Lakeland College from Wisconsin. More>

RENO, NV – December 18, 2008 – The University of Great Falls wrestling team competed at the prestigious Reno Tournament of Champions on Thursday in Reno, Nevada.
Great Falls had three wrestlers that reached the quarterfinals but stumbled in their chance for being in the top six. Anthoni Heffernan (SO, Orting, WA, 141lbs.), Ross Mosher (SO, Augusta, MT, 157 lbs.) and Brendon DeCock (JR, Huntley, MT, 174 lbs.) each were eliminated by some stiff competition. More>
