Argo Women Fall to Westminster Great Falls, MT – It was Senior / Parents day at Seibel Park. The Argonaut Men's Team had just completed a 2-0 shutout of the Wetminster College Griffins. The Argo Women were looking to duplicate the men's game. More>

NAIA Fall Sports Scholar-Athletes Announced
Great Falls, MT – The NAIA has announced the fall sports student-athletes that have been named 2010 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes. The University of Great Falls had 14 student-athletes named to this honor for men’s and women’s soccer, volleyball, and men’s and women’s cross country. Women’s soccer and volleyball had the most recipients with four a piece. More>

Women's Soccer Comes Up Short
Great Falls, MT – The University of Great Falls women’s soccer team took action this afternoon against the Griffins of Westminster College but came up short of the win. The Argos (2-11) went into the break tied at zero with the Griffins (10-6-1) before relinquishing the game winning goal two minutes into the second half. Westminster would go on to win 1-0 in the two teams’ second meeting of the season. More>

Men's Soccer Finds Redemption As Women Drop Close One
Great Falls, MT – The University of Great Falls men’s soccer team was looking for redemption today when they took on Rocky Mountain College after the Bears handed the Argos a 3-1 loss which was only their second of the season. The game was tied up at ones at the break before the Argos offense open things up in the second half eventually winning 4-1. The women faced the same Frontier Conference foe for the first time but dropped a tight match 2-1. More>

Argos Sweep the Jimmies
Great Falls, MT – The University of Great Falls men’s and women’s soccer teams made a clean sweep of the Jamestown Jimmies this afternoon by winning their respective matches at Siebel Soccer Complex. The women kicked things off with a 2-1win while the men topped the afternoon off with a 7-0 routing of the Jimmies. More>

Road Trip Proves Too Much For Argos
Caldwell, ID – The first road trip of the year proved to be a tough outing for the University of Great Falls women’s soccer team. The Argos dropped two games by a combined score of 11-2 which put the team 0-3 for the season. NCAA Division II Northwest Nazarene University handed the Argos a 6-2 loss on Saturday while the Yotes of the College of Idaho muscled a 5-0 result against the visiting side. More>

UGF Women's Soccer Earns Academic Honors
Great Falls, MT - The University of Great Falls Women’s Soccer team has earned the National Soccer Coaches Association of America/Adidas Women’s Team Academic Award, the NSCAA announced. This is the first time the program has received the honor. In addition, seniors Kelsey Chytka (Laramie, WY), Randi Hollen (Chattaroy, WA), and Jessica Selmer (Laramie, WY) were named to the 2009 NSCAA Scholar All-West Region Team. Selmer was named to the First Team while Chytka and Hollen were named Honorable Mentions. More>
