Argo Softball adds three to the roster

UGF's Erica McAlmond is selected as a member of the 2008 Daktronics-NAIA Softball Scholar-Athletes

KANSAS CITY, MO — May 21, 2008 — The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced the 277 softball student-athletes that have been named 2008 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athletes.

University of Great Falls’ Erica McAlmond, a senior pitcher/first baseman from Helena, Montana, was one of the students recognized by the NAIA for this honor. Each student-athlete that received this recognition was nominated by the head coach of each institution and they had to maintain at least a grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 and had to be at least a junior academically to qualify.
