Faculty/Administrative Positions 

 

Full Time Nursing Faculty Administrator
The University of Great Falls seeks applicants for a 12 month tenure track position as a Nursing Faculty/Administrator for its newly created RN-BSN program. Salary range 36,000.00 - 45,000.00 plus benefits.

 

Requirements:  Master’s degree in nursing; doctoral degree in nursing, or a related field, preferred, unencumbered Montana RN license or ability to obtain, broad background in nursing practice and Administrative, Management and Leadership experience. Have the ability to establish a program of scholarly work, outreach and community service, a commitment to maintain nursing expertise, registered nurse licensure, and certification, and provide leadership in securing CCNE accreditation.

Experience:  Program development and evaluation, teaching nursing students and/or staff development in a hospital; also in medical/surgical, acute care, community health, and management desired., and in teaching through various distance education modalities preferred.


Responsibilities and General Expectations: 

  • Teach 12 credits over fall and spring semesters
  • Develop syllabi, courses, program emphases, and assessment instruments
  • Expand knowledge and competencies through research and professional activities in their disciplines and in the learning/teaching process on-site and online.
  • Work collaboratively with other faculty and staff in fostering a community of learning and growth
  • Be committed to student success
  • Must have and develop competencies with computer applications for instructional purposes
  • Must understand and be committed to the UGF mission as a private Catholic liberal arts institution that prepares student for living and making a living.
  • Other responsibilities as listed in the Faculty Handbook and contract

Adjunct Art Instructors 
For art appreciation and/or art history courses, both on campus and via distance learning.
Available: Open until filled
Minimum Qualifications: Must have an MFA, MA or PhD in applicable field and, preferably, some teaching experience.
